Countdown: Three more days

I've just about finished packing but I was sure to carefully add the money belt that belonged to my aunt before she passed away a few weeks ago. She had signed it and written where she had her great adventure - France. Now I'm going to take this little relic of her adventures with me to Egypt and my semester abroad. I feel better knowing she gave me her blessing to go, although I worry about leaving my mother after the loss of her sister. I know I'm also going to miss my sister a lot, and she actually called off of work to spend time with me before I leave. We talked as "A Muppets' Christmas Carol" of all things, played in the background.

The Jitters

I have the jitters, so badly that I barely slept last night. Five days to go. This is of course when I start to have second thoughts, but I know I'm going to follow through with this adventure!
